Before diving into the sand or paddling out into the waves, please read this waiver carefully. By participating in any Bump, Set, Surf activities, you’re acknowledging the risks of beach volleyball and surfing and agreeing to the terms below.
Assumption of Risk
I understand that beach volleyball and surfing are physical activities that involve risks, including but not limited to: slips, falls, collisions, strong ocean currents, marine life encounters, weather changes, sun exposure, and other hazards that could cause injury or worse. I voluntarily choose to participate and accept full responsibility for these risks.
Health & Safety
I confirm that I am physically able to participate in beach volleyball and/or surf lessons.
I understand that all surf participants must be able to swim independently.
I agree to follow all safety instructions provided by Bump, Set, Surf instructors.
Release of Liability
I hereby release, waive, and hold harmless Bump, Set, Surf, its owners, instructors, employees, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of my participation, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Equipment Use
Provided Gear: I acknowledge that all necessary equipment (volleyballs, surfboards, etc.) is provided.
Personal Gear: If I choose to bring my own board or gear, I do so at my own risk and responsibility.
Media Release
I grant Bump, Set, Surf permission to use photos or videos taken during lessons for promotional purposes (social media, website, marketing). If I prefer not to be included, I’ll let the instructor know before my session.
Acknowledgment
By checking the box below and submitting this form, I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand this waiver. I voluntarily agree to its terms as a condition of participating in Bump, Set, Surf activities.
